Ever since I was a graduate student, I’ve spent time writing notes on technical articles and blog posts that I’ve found interesting. I tend to get interested in a lot of different subjects, and so these notes wander among the fields of mathematics and algorithms, optical design and optical physics, statistics and detection modelling, spectrometry and polarization, ethics in science, and other topics.

Looking back now, I see that my notes have ballooned to over 2000 pages of material, and so it seems past time that I did something with it that goes beyond my own thoughts. So, when I find time, I hope to consolidate a few of these notes and convert them into blog posts, so that they may find their way to an interested audience.
